Tournament
Wansbeck Netball Club hosted a tournament at Blyth Sports Centre on Wednesday 11 December 2024 in memory of Sue Hall who sadly passed away in September following a short illness.
A total of 14 teams entered the round robin tournament which was split into two divisions. It was an action-packed evening with teams battling it out in each division.
Astley Netball Club came out top in both divisions but encountered some hard-fought matches.
There was a raffle on the evening with some fantastic prizes on offer. Money raised from the raffle and tournament entry fee totalled £860 which is to be split between Cancer Research UK and Children’s Cancer North.
