About
Northumberland County deliver a Player Development Programs (PDP), which aims to help young players develop and progress through the England Netball Performance Pathway. We have twp County Player Development Academies; U15 and U13.
We also run two programs outside of our County Development Programs, which are our U11 futures, and U19 futures, which help support the development of our athletes in the region.
Our programs run from September – June, with several training sessions, development workshops and game play against other counties.

All of our athletes must attend a club, and must be affiliated to Northumberland and England Netball.

Our team consists of various coaches from across the region;

All of our athletes must attend a club, and must be affiliated to Northumberland and England Netball.
- Athletes are selected via trial process, which takes place in September.
- Athletes are nominated by their netball clubs.
- Once selected athletes in our academy can be nominated to trial for our North East Regional academies.
